Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
The Gold Coast’s premiere wildlife park, Currumbin Sanctuary lets you get back to nature, with many hands on displays involving Australian and international wildlife. Take on the new “Extreme Green Challenge”, or take a night tour, and see the wildlife world come alive. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is only a five minute drive from Golden Shores Airport Motel.

David Fleay Wildlife Park
Located just west of Burleigh is the David Fleay Wildlife Park, where you can witness native wild life in their natural bush surroundings.

Australian Outback Spectacular
One of the Gold Coast’s newest attractions, the Australian Outback Spectacular, located between Wet ‘n’ Wild and Warner Brothers Movie World, takes a live tour through outback Australia. Dinner and show tickets are available.

Dreamworld
The original Gold Coast Theme Park, Dreamworld has such favourites as thrill rides and roller coasters, Wiggles World, Nick Central, Imax Theatre and wildlife displays.

White Water World
The Gold Coast’s newest water park, White Water World has all of the latest and greatest attractions, located adjacent to Dreamworld in Coomera.

Warner Brothers Movie World
It’s Hollywood on the Gold Coast! Warner Brothers Movie World takes you behind the scenes, including the new Hollywood Stunt Drive show.

Wet 'n' Wild
The original and biggest water park on the Gold Coast, Wet ‘n’ Wild is a summer time favourite, with new slides and pools constantly opening. Based on the M1 freeway in Helensvale.

Sea World
A family classic, Sea World has all of the rides and attractions you would come to expect, and includes many favourites like the dolphin and seal shows, Ray Reef, polar bears and more. Located on Sea World Drive in Main Beach.

Tropical Fruit World
Located just south of Tweed Heads, Tropical Fruit World allows you to taste some of the fantastic produce from the local area.

If you want to get back to nature, the Gold Coast Hinterland offers many natural attractions. World Heritage Listed areas such as Lamington National Park and the nearby Mount Warning both offer a brilliant array of flora and fauna, walking tracks and stunning views.

Also in the hinterland, Mount Tamborine is a must visit area. With a stunning vista over the greater Gold Coast area, take the time to tour the many art galleries, cafes and wineries. About a 30 minute drive south of the Gold Coast is world famous Byron Bay, with brilliant beaches and the world famous light house at Arakwal National Park.

Closer to Kirra is the Burleigh Hill National Park, which offers bush walks around the Gold Coast’s last remaining area of natural seaside forest.

Take in the sights and sounds of Surfers Paradise, with shopping, dining, adventure activities and a non-stop party atmosphere. A favourite tourist stopover is the Q1 observation deck, which offers uninterrupted views from Brisbane to Byron Bay from the top of the world’s tallest residential tower.

Just to the south of Surfers Paradise is Broadbeach, which features the Conrad Jupiters Casino, the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, as well as the Broadbeach Mall shopping and restaurant precinct.

For thrill seekers, there are many adventures to be had, including jet boating safaris, jet skiing, 4WD adventure tours, scuba diving, Zorbing, Harley Davidson tours and hot air ballooning.

The nearby Gold Coast Airport has several companies that offer airborne sightseeing tours, aboard either contemporary planes (or helicopters) or older styled planes such as Tiger Moths.

The Gold Coast is an ideal place to take in a spot of fishing, with 70km of beaches, and nine times more canals than Venice. Also, many deep sea fishing charters operate out of Marina Mirage, offering the chance to catch a big one! While at the beach, why not take on some surfing lessons?

Up for a spot of golf? The Gold Coast has 35 different courses to take in, from championship level resort courses to easier beginner layouts, there is a course for every level of talent and budget.

Year round the Gold Coast is a hub of sporting activity, with teams in the National Rugby League (The Titans), A-League Soccer (Gold Coast United), National Basketball League (The Blaze), and the AFL.
